Kathmandu, Nepal, April 19, 2021:The Nepali National Men's Cricket team has registered a comfortable victory against Malaysia in the ongoing match played under Tri-nation T20 series, on Monday.
In the math played at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground, Kirtipur, batsman Kushal Bhurtel registered a comfortable 9-wicket victory. Bhurtel contributed the runs by smashing a quick fire 61 off 41 deliveries while his partner Aasif Sheikh contributed 42 runs to clinch the victory in 12.1 overs.
This is the second victory for Nepal in the ongoing Tri-nation T20 series. Earlier, Nepal had registered a nine-wicket win against Netherlands. Nepal is going to face the Netherlands on Tuesday again.
With the second consecutive victory, Nepal is leading with top position while the Netherlands has limited into two. Similarly, Malaysia is limited at the bottom due to the two consecutive losses in the match.
