Kathmandu, Nepal, May 16, 2023: The Supreme Court (SC), the apex court of the country, has issued an interim order on the name of Nepal government not to immediately implement the government's decision to distribute Rs 200,000 to the disqualified Maoist combatants.
Responding to the writ petition filed by Advocate Gyanendra Raj Aran against of the government’s decision, a single bench of Supreme Court Justice Kumar Regmi issued the order on Tuesday.
The Supreme Court has called upon both the parties for further discussion on the matter.
