Two missing Meghalaya boys rescued in Guwahati

Guwahati, October 5 : Two students of Meghalaya's St Anthony's Higher Secondary School who were allegedly kidnapped from Shillong were rescued by Assam police from Guwahati on Wednesday.

According to the reports two boys from Latimukhrah in Shillong went missing since October 3 and relatives of the minors lodged an FIR at Latimukhrah police station.

Following the incident, Meghalaya police had contacted with Assam police and Guwahati city police had detected them at Adabari area in Guwahati on Wednesday and later traced them at Jalukbari area.

Meanwhile, Assam police had handed over duo to Meghalaya police team.
