Guwahati, July 25 : Two people died and one injured in a road mishap near in Assam’s Kamrup (Metro) district on Tuesday night.
The incident happened near Deepor Beel area under Azara police station, outskirts of Guwahati city last night while head on collision between a speedy truck and a Wagon-R car.
The driver and one person of the car died on spot while another person received severe injuries.
The injured person was rushed to Guwahati Medical College Hospital.
The deceased persons were identified as Biswajit Rabha and Prativa Sangma.
Officer-in-Charge of Azara police station Ashok Kumar Dutta said that, the incident occurred following head on collision between the two vehicles.
