Guwahati, May 28 : Suspected anti-talk ULFA(I) militants had triggered an explosion at a gas pipeline in Upper Assam's Charaideo district on Saturday night, officials said on Sunday. 
 
The explosion took place at the pipeline of Assam Gas Company Limited at Teokghat triggered by the suspected militants at around 7-30 pm on Saturday. 
 
A top police official said that, there was no report of any casualty in the explosion. 
 
The top Assam cops said that, suspected militants had triggered the blast by using remote control. 
 
The pipeline supplying gas to the tea gardens, power projects and domestic consumers in the oil rich Upper Assam. 
 
Top police and Assam Gas Company Limited officials had rushed to the area and engaging to repair the pipeline. 
 
Meanwhile, Paresh Baruah led ULFA(I) had taken responsibility for the blast. 
 
The outfit group also took responsibility for the blast at a oil pipeline at Alimur near Dikom in Dibrugarh district on May 24 night.
