Kathmandu, Nepal: The US Ambassador to Nepal Alaina B Teplitz called on newly elected Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba at latter’s office on Thursday.
During the meeting US Ambassador Teplitz congratulated Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Deuba and expressed best wishes of behalf of US for his successful tenure.
In the meeting, Deuba expressed gratitude to the US government for its assistance in various sectors in Nepal. Prime Minister Deuba also expressed his expectations that such assistance would be continued and increased in the days ahead.
Responding to the concerns of the Prime Minister US Ambassador Teplitz also expressed confidence that the relations between Nepal and the US would take a new height in the days ahead.
