Kathmandu, Nepal, Jan 10, 2020: Just after 10 days of its functioning, the winter session of the National Assembly has concluded on Sunday.
Following the decision of the President Bidya Devi Bhandari to prorogue the National Assembly session, Ganesh Timalisina, chairperson of the Assembly, announced the same during a meeting of the National Assembly.
Earlier, on the same day on Sunday, a cabinet meeting had recommended the president to conclude the ongoing winter session of the National Assembly.
As the National Assembly session is prorogued just 10 days after its functioning, it is taken importantly from different sectors.
As the House of the Representatives (HoR) has been already dissolved for fresh elections, political parties have divided over the decision to dissolve the HoR.
