Dhangadhi, Nepal, June 4, 2023: 3 persons, including Minister of Internal Affairs and Law of Far West Province Prithvi Bahadur Singh, died in a car accident in Bajhang district on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the police, Minister Singh's wife Amritadevi Singh and sister-in-law Jayadevi Singh also died in the accident.
Minister Singh, who was seriously injured in the accident, died during treatment at Kohalpur Medical College, while his wife and sister-in-law died in Bajhang.
The ill-fated Jeep with registration number Sudurpaschim Pradesh-01-001 Jh 480 that was going from Dhangadhi to Bajhang met with the fatal accident in Kedarsyu Rural Municipality-1 Naya village of Bajhang district.
In that accident, the driver Dharmaraj Joshi and security guard Deepak Bhandari were injured. The injured duo are currently receiving treatment in Nepalganj.
