Guwahati : A friend of Abijit Nath heared a stranger voice on Abhijit’s mobile phone on Friday evening at around 8 pm, who uttered – ‘We have killed him. Watch the news on news channels tomorrow’.
30-year-old Abhijeet Nath – a mechanical engineer and animal lover had gone to Karbi Anglong with his friend 29-year-old Nilotpal Das – a sound engineer from Guwahati on Friday morning at around 10-30 am for a short vacation.
But Abhijit didn’t inform it to his mother Shashiprava Deka (Nath) – a retired college teacher.
Abhijit’s mother was regularly contacted with his son through mobile phone till 4 pm after he left from Guwahati.
Till 6-30 to 7 pm, Abhijit mother was able to contact with her son, but she didn’t contact with Abhijit after that.
Around 7-30 pm, she able to contact with Abhijit’s mobile phone, but the call was not received.
“In the meantime, a friend of Abhijit calling his mobile phone and a stranger person had received it and uttered – ‘We have killed him. Watch the news on news channels tomorrow’,” Abhijit’s uncle Abhijit Deka said.
The friend had immediately contacted with the family members of Abhijit and described it.
After lost their lone son, Abhijit’s parents and other family members are still in shock.
A mournful environment is still surrounding in Abhijit’s home at Chachal area in Guwahati.
On the other hand, the family members demanded that, the culprits should be given capital punishment, they should be hanged.
