Asar 15 is being observed today

Kathmandu, Nepal, June 29, 2024: Asar 15, which is known as the National Paddy Day and also known as the bitten rice-curd feeding day, is being observed today across Nepal.

As Asar 15 marks the beginning of the paddy planting season, the main crops of Nepal, farmers across the country celebrate the day as cultivation festival.
