Kathmandu, Nepal, February 5, 2020: Bird flu has been detected at Tarkeshwar Municipality of Kathmandu.
The deadly disease was detected in turkeys and ducks reared by a local farmer of Sanglekhola of Tarkeshwar Municipality-7.
The government has claimed that necessary precautionary measures have been adopted not to let the disease get transmitted further.
The residents in Kathmandu valley, however, have been reeling under the threat that the deadly decease would transform into community level.
Following the news regarding the Bird Flu cases, the consumption of meat has been drastically decreased in Kathmandu valley.
