Guwahati , Aug 10 : Dipok Chandra Barthakur assumed office as Vice Chairman of State Planning Board, Assam on Wednesday.
An eminent social entrepreneur and activist Barthakur has been appointed in the rank and status of a Cabinet Minister.
A recipient of several national awards, Barthakur is currently associated with several organisations.
