Guwahati, Sep 25 : Two mild intensity earthquake rocked Assam this morning.
The first tremor, measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale was felt at around 9-17 am and the second at 9-21 am.
It was epicentred in lower Assam’s Barpeta district, at a depth of 10 km and it felt in Guwahati, many parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Manipur.
There is no report of damage or casualties so far.
