Salina Maharjan wins Miss Newa: Nepal 1142

Kathmandu, Nepal, May 3, 2022: Salina Maharjan has won the title of Miss Newa: Nepal 1142. Maharjan, who hails from of Chasmati of Kathmandu won the coveted title by defeating different 18 competitors.

The 16th edition of the competition for the Miss Newa: Nepal 1142 was organized by Nepalese Fashion Home at Pragya Pratisthan.

In the completion, Savina Bajracharya of Thamel has won the first runner-up while Selina Prajapati of Thimi of Bhaktapur has been declared as second runner-up Miss Newa: Nepal 1142.

The answer given to the question raised by Chief Judge Ashok Babu Shrestha that what qualities would require to be mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City helped Salina to win the title.

Miss Newa: Nepal 1141 Krishna Maharjan crowned Salina. With the winning of the title, she has also bagged one lakh rupees in cash as prize.
