Kathmandu, Nepal, February 17, 2022: Ramesh Hamal has been appointed as the chairman of Nepal Securities Board. Cabient meeting held on Thursday decided to appoint Hamal in the post of the regulatory body for capital markets.
The cabinet meeting made the decision on the basis of the recommendation of the selection committee headed by National Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Vishwanath Poudel.
The committee had recommended his name along with Dr. Gopal Bhatt and Krishna Pokharel.
