Kathmandu, Nepal: Following the obstruction from the main opposition CPN UML and other fringe opposition parties, the House meeting of Wednesday has also been postponed for Friday.
The CPN UML and other fringe parties have been obstructing the parliamentary proceedings to protest the constitution amendment bill registered in the parliament.
As soon as the announcement was made for the beginning of the meeting, Rastriya Janamorcha Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC spoke on behalf of the opposition parties to announce their obstruction in the parliament.
We opposition parties would not let the Parliament proceed with its business unless the Constitution amendment bill was withdrawn, KC said.
When KC announced to obstruct the parliamentary proceedings, the lawmakers belonging to the opposition parties stood up from their seats to obstruct the process.
