Guwahati : A 20-member Indian Army team of Gajraj Corps embarked on a 1500 km long challenging cycling expedition across Arunachal Pradesh.
The expedition was flagged off on Friday in Tawang.
The cycling team will cover almost all the districts of Arunachal Pradesh and complete the route in 30 days.
The team aims to promote the spirit of adventure, reach out to the local populace including school children, spread the message of peace, solidarity and national integration.
It will also conduct 'Know Your Army' campaigns and various medical camps in the far flung villages enroute.
The 20-member team epitomises the spirit of Ultra endurance and adventure.
