Kathmandu, Nepal, June 24, 2024: Sun Weidong, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of China, is arriving here in Kathmandu today to participate in the 16th meeting of the Nepal-China Diplomatic Consultative Mechanism that is going to kick off from Tuesday.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the meeting is being held between the delegate members between the two neighboring countries. Nepalese delegation is being led by Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal while Chinese delegation will be led by Sun.
It is said that the meeting will be held focusing on bilateral relations between Nepal and China, as well as areas of cooperation.
During his three day stay in Nepal Chinese vice Foreign Minister Sun is scheduled to hold a meeting with President Ram Chandra Paudel and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
