Kathmandu, Nepal, September 12, 2023: Subash Chandra Nemwang, Chairman of the Constituent Assembly and Vice Chairman of the main opposition party CPN-UML has passed away. Nemwang died last night due to a heart attack.
The government has decided to give a national honor to the late Nemwang. The cabinet meeting held on Tuesday morning decided to grant a public holiday on the day of the late Nemwang's funeral.
However, since it is certain when the funeral will take place, the government has decided to give a public holiday on the day of the funeral. Nemwang's sons are abroad.
