Congress Leaders underline the need to follow BP’s line and ideology

Kathmandu, Nepal, February 22, 2020: The leaders of the Nepali Congress (NC) have underlined the need to follow the guiding principle and ideology propounded by the BP Koirala. 

Speaking at fifth condolence ceremony of late NC leader Bhagwat Gyawali in Kathmandu on Saturday various leaders of the NC including party president Sher Bahadur Deuba, General Secretary Dr. Sashanka Koirala and others said that the ideology propounded by Koirala is the only solution problems seen in the party and the nation. Nepali Congress Gumi Kathmandu Contact Forum (NCGKCF) had organized the program. 

Speaking in the capacity of the chief guest of the condolence ceremony, NC president Deuba urged all the NC leaders and cadres to be united against of the anti democratic and anti nationalist activities launched in the country. The Nepali Congress is the   only party that can resolve all the problems emerged ahead of the country, Deuba said.  

In the condolence ceremony organized under the chairmanship of NCGKCF chairman Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, various leaders including president of the Nepali Congress (BP) Haribol Bhattrai and others highlighted the role played by late leader Gyawali for strengthen the democratic movement in the country.  

Similarly,   Nepali Congress Isma Rural municipality also organized the condolence ceremony in Isma on Saturday. During the condolence ceremony, various leaders including Nepali Congress General Convention representative Chhanda Bahadur Paharai highlited the role played by late Gyanwali. Late Gyanwali was the founding president of the Nepali Congress, Gulmi and former member of the parliament.
