Kathmandu, Nepal, November 3, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus (COVID-19) infection tally has reached to 179,614 after 3,114 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours. Of them, 1,867 were males while 1,247 were females, the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has stated on Tuesday.
According to the MoHP, 1,468 new cases were recorded in Kathmandu Valley alone in the past 24 hours. Among them, 819 were males while 649 were females. With the new addition, total infection tally in Kathmandu valley alone has reached to 81,068.
Likewise, 3,142 people, who were earlier tested positive for the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the new addition, total recovery tally of the country has reached to 141,134.
Likewise, death toll related to the coronavirus infection has reached to 1,004 with 20 deaths related to the virus added in the past 24 hours.
