Tokha, Kartik 22 – The first general assembly of Shree Dhapasi Tole Development Association, located in Vinayak Colony, Tokha Municipality–4, Dhapasi, was successfully held today.
The program was chaired by the association’s president, Mr. Amar Paudel, and conducted by Mr. Damodar Dhakal. The welcome remarks were delivered by member Mr. Prakash Mukhia. Treasurer Mr. Sunil Giri presented the association’s financial report, which was unanimously approved by the assembly. Likewise, President Mr. Paudel presented his annual report, which was also passed unanimously.
The special guest of the event, former chairman of Chhatrakot Rural Municipality, Mr. Madhukrishna Pant, provided valuable suggestions and guidance for the association’s future development. Similarly, Ward No. 4 member Mr. Tarabahadur Thapa expressed his commitment to extend full support from the ward office to the Tole Development Association and congratulated the newly formed executive committee while thanking the previous one.
The assembly appointed Prof. Dr. Chiran Acharya as the head of the election committee to form a new executive committee. Based on the committee’s decision, Mr. Damodar Dhakal was elected as President, Ms. Renu Lama as Secretary, and Mr. Sunil Giri as Treasurer. Likewise, Mr. Chiranjivi Sharma, Ms. Yashoda Shrestha, Ms. Mina Sharma, Mr. Rajan Thapa, Ms. Rijana Acharya, and Mr. Keshav Das Shrestha were elected as members.
Election coordinator Mr. Kiran Acharya administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly elected committee members and extended his best wishes for their tenure. Around 40 local members from Vinayak Colony participated in the program.
