Kathmandu, Nepal, October 26, 2021: Nepal Police have arrested five more youths involved in gang-rape of three teenage girls on Monday.
According to the District police office, Sindhuli, the arrested have been identified as Arjun Magar, 23, Dhan Bahadur Bamjan, 23, Milan Lama, 21, Deepak Magar, 20 and Akash Magar, 20 of Kamalamai Municipality-5.
Earlier, police had arrested Vivek Magar, Shiva Magar and Hem Lama. According to Police, another rape accused Bishwa Rai is still absconding.
A gang of nine youth had raped three teenage girls at Pulmuni Bagar in Labdah Khola in Kamalamai Municipality at around 2:00 pm on October 16 while the girls were returning home after receiving Tika from their relatives in Dashain.
