Kathmandu, Nepal, March 19, 2020: India has claimed that Nepal has requested India to send a rapid response team to prevent the spread of coronavirus (covid-19).
Speaking at a press conference at the Indian External Affairs Ministry in New Delhi on Thursday, spokesperson Raveesh Kumar claimed that Nepal has unofficially requested India to send the rapid response team. However, he did not elaborated about the so-called unofficial urged made from the Nepal government.
Nepal government has not made clear whether it has requested India or other countries for help to prevent the spread of coronavirus (covid-19). Earlier it was said that China had also proposed for the help to prevent the spread of coronavirus (covid-19).
Though Nepal government has adopted precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the deadly virus, no confirmed cases of coronavirus are reported yet in Nepal.
