Japanese Foreign minister Takeshi sends condolences message to the Prime Minister Karki regarding the recent damages caused by landslides and floods set off by incessant rainfall

Kathmandu, Nepal, October 7, 2025: Foreign Minister of Japan, IWAYA Takeshi has sent a condolences message to the Prime Minister Mrs. Sushila Karki regarding the recent damages caused by landslides and floods set off by incessant rainfall. 
 
"I am deeply saddened to learn that landslides and floods set off by incessant rainfall in Nepal and India have resulted in the loss of many precious lives and the displacement of many people, especially in their eastern areas, I pray for the souls of the victims and extend my deepest condolences to the bereaved families Foreign Minister of Japan Takeshi has stated in the message adding as “I would also like to express my sincere wishes for the recovery of the affected people and the swift reconstruction of the affected areas."
