Kathmandu turns calm after violent protest

Kathmandu, Nepal, September 10, 2025: The violent protest launched on the name of Gen Z has turned into calm after Nepal Army took the responsibilities of security in the country on Wednesday. 
 
The soldiers of Nepal Army have begun to guard the streets of Nepal, particularly the capital city, Kathmandu from 10:00 pm on Tuesday. 
 
As the Nepal Army has ordered the people to stay home by imposing curfew order, no protest is seeming in the streets. Soldiers with sophisticated weapons have been guarding the main areas of Kathmandu.
 
The protesters had set fire to government buildings and politicians’ homes and attacked some leaders on Tuesday, the second day of the Gen Z protest. 
 
The Nepal Army had announced to be mobilized to mention the security of the country on Tuesday evening. 
 
As the protest had turned violent even after the prime minister KP Oli resigned from the post on Wednesday.
