Kumar Panta has been elected as the President of the NRNA for two years term

Kathmandu, Nepal October 18, 2019: Kumar Pant led panel has won the elections in most of the seats of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA). Pant emerged victorious by defeating Kul Acharya by 111 votes. 
According to the election committee Pant garnered 1217 votes while Acharya received only 1070 votes. Panta led panel was backed by the government head Nepal Communist Party (NCP). 
Germany based entrepreneur Panta had served as the global vice-president of the NRNA for the past two years. 
Dr. Badri KC, Sonam Lama, Arjun Shrestha and Mana KC have been elected the new vice presidents of the NRNA while Hem Raj Sharma has been elected as the general secretary. 
Likewise Gauri Joshi and RK Sharma has been elected in the post of secretaries while Mahesh Shrestha and Lokraj Dahal have been elected as treasurer and co-treasurer respectively.
