Dhading, Nepal: At least five persons of two families have lost their lives while landslide damaged houses in Saiswara and Khaniyabas Rural Municipality of Dhading district.
According to the reports, the landside occurred on Wednesday night had damaged at least nine houses of the two rural municipalities causing huge damage of properties.
The deceased of Saiswara- 5 have been identified as Basodha Gurung, 36, her daughter duo Laxmi Gurung, 10 and Saraswati Gurung, 5. In the incident deceased Basodha’s husband Raju and her 12-year-old son Bikas have sustained injuries.
Similarly in the landside occurred Chiurikharka in Khaniyabas Rural Municipality-4, Shamsher Ghale, 65 and his wife Kopchi Ghale have also died after their house has swept away by the landside occurred due to the torrential rainfall since Wednesday evening.
