Kathmandu, July 7, 2025 (Ashar 22, 2082 B.S.) Jointly organized by the International Friendship Society Nepal and Rejua Healthcare, Mumbai, the Nepal-India Friendship Wellness Seminar has significantly strengthened grassroots-level relations between Nepal and India, while raising widespread public awareness about wellness and alternative healing systems.
The two-day international seminar was held on July 5-6 at Hotel Badrinath, Pingalasthan, Gaushala, Kathmandu. The presence of esteemed dignitaries, doctors, artists, and intellectuals from both Nepal and India elevated the grandeur of the event.
Inauguration and Distinguished Presence
The inauguration session was conducted under the chairmanship of spiritual scholar Guru Arjun Prasad Bastola, with former Vice President of Nepal, Hon. Parmanand Jha, as the chief guest.

Welcome Address by Chairman Pradeep Khanal
Delivering the welcome address, Mr. Pradeep Khanal, Chairman of the organizing committee, emphasized the historical and contemporary significance of Nepal-India collaboration in the fields of religion, culture, and health.
He remarked, “The relationship between Nepal and India goes far beyond politics or diplomacy — it is deeply rooted in a shared spiritual and cultural legacy. In today’s context, it is equally essential to unite both nations through human service and holistic health.”

The seminar was emotionally and eloquently anchored by renowned Nepali film director Tulsi Ghimire.
Dr. Santosh Kumar Pandey delivered an insightful lecture on acupuncture, energy balancing, and the scientific principles behind natural healing.
Actress Isha Agarwal shared her thoughts on women’s empowerment, health awareness, and self-confidence, while also expressing deep admiration for Nepalese culture.
Health Benefits for Over 700 Citizens
Following the seminar, a free health camp was organized where more than 700 citizens benefited from acupuncture, sujok therapy, and other alternative healing services provided by Dr. Pandey and his expert team.
The camp not only provided relief and health improvement but also inspired public trust in natural healing and generated awareness in the local community.
