Kathmandu, December 17, 2025 A stationery and notebook distribution program was organized at Rudramati Primary School, Anamnagar, on the 2nd day of Poush 2082 (December 17, 2025). The program was jointly conducted by the Lions Club of Kathmandu Center Mid Town, the Leo Club of Kathmandu Center Mid Town, and Swaminarayan Seva Ashram Nepal.
The program was chaired by Chiranjivi Sharma, President of the Lions Club of Kathmandu Center Mid Town. The Chief Guest was Hira Prasad Gupta, Governor of Lions District 325 E. The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including District Secretary Bhuvan Pokhrel, Area Coordinator Navin Bajra Lama, Region Chairperson Madhusudan Pradhan, Immediate Past President Pawan Manali, First Vice President Sushil Kumar Agarwal, Club Secretary Nishant Oli, Manju Jangam, and volunteer service supporter Pushkar Mani Jangam. Nishal Poudel, President of Swaminarayan Seva Ashram Nepal, along with member Biswakarma, also participated in the program. The proceedings were conducted by Zone Chairperson Birendra Prakash Shrestha, who served as the Master of Ceremonies.
Speaking at the event, Governor Hira Prasad Gupta appreciated the initiative taken by President Chiranjivi Sharma, describing it as an outstanding contribution to social service. He remarked that the Lions Club of Kathmandu Center Mid Town has been actively engaged in meaningful community work and recognized it as one of the leading Lions clubs in Kathmandu.
During the program, around 1,000 notebooks and stationery items were distributed to approximately 50 students of the school. Addressing the gathering, President Chiranjivi Sharma stated that the club has set a target to distribute more than 10,000 notebooks during its 2025–2026 tenure, reaffirming its commitment to supporting education and student welfare.
The students were delighted to receive the stationery support, and the school community expressed its gratitude for the initiative, noting that such assistance plays an important role in encouraging learning and meeting the educational needs of students.
