Kathmandu, Nepal June 21, 2025: Responding to a request from the Government of Nepal, India has expressed its readiness to rescue Nepali citizens stranded in Iran due to the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel.
The Embassy of India in Iran has initiated process to contact the persons, who want to be rescued from Iran.
The Indian Embassy in Iran has agreed to Nepal’s request foreign minister Dr Arju Rana has stated adding the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has reached out to the Nepalis in Iran today, advising them to contact the Indian Embassy. The Indian Embassy has also issued a public notice to this effect, Rana has stated.
