Kathmandu, Nepal, December 17, 2021: Nepal records 269 new cases of coronavirus infections from across the country in the past 24 hours on Friday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally advanced to 825445.
Meanwhile, 270 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally has advanced to 808353.
Likewise, three more deaths related to the coronavirus infections have been recorded in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide death tally has advanced to 11570.
There are currently 5522 active cases of coronavirus infections across the country. Of them, only 98 individuals are staying in quarantine facilities established by the government.
