Kathmandu, Nepal, January 7, 2022: the coronaviurs infection cases including the new Omicron variant of coronavirus is spreading in Nepal. It is said that 24 cases of Omicron variant has found so far in Nepal.
Considering to the spreading threat of coronavirus, the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has urged the hospitals and other concerned agencies to be cautious over the possible threat of third wave of the virus.
Meanwhile, Nepal recorded 572 new cases of coronavirus infection from across the country in the past 24 hours on Monday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally has advanced to 831052.
Likewise, 262 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, recovery tally of the country has advanced to 813709.
So far, death toll related to the coronavirus infection has reached to 11602.
