Kathmandu, Nepal, May 2, 2022: Nepal records 8 new cases of coronavirus infections from across the country in the past 24 hours on Monday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally has advanced to 978836.
Likewise, 18 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, recovery tally of the country has advanced to 966674.
Death toll related to the coronavirus infections has reached 1191 in Nepal. No death related to the coronavirus infection was recorded on Monday.
There are currently 211 active cases of coronavirus infections across the country. Of them, only 106 individuals are staying in quarantine facilities.
