Kathmandu, Nepal, April 25, 2022: The Nepal stock exchange (NEPSE) index has decreased by 34.95 points and 1.44 percent and closed at 2,386.01 points on Monday.
Though the NEPSE index that had gained 95.46 points at the first trading day of the week on Sunday, it has decreased in the second trading day of the week. The turnover amount has also decreased compare to the previous day.
The index that was opened at 2,423.74 points made the intraday high at 2,443.95 points while the intraday low as 2,382.37 points before closing at 2,386.01 points.
A total of 5,047,769 shares were exchanged amounting to Rs. 2.0422 Arba in the turnover amount via 46,401 transactions. Sunday’s turnover amount was Rs. 2.531 Arba.
Arun Valley Hydropower Development Co. Ltd. (AHPC) traded the most with highest turnover of Rs. 8.11 crores. Market price of AHPC was Rs. 421 per share.
Jalpa Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (JALPA) has gained 9.99 percent and technically hit the positive circuit breaker while Central Finance Co. Ltd. (CFCL) lost the highest by 5.33 percent. Eleven, out of Thirteen Sector Indices, closed red on Monday.
