Kathmandu, Nepal, September 14, 2022: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index gained by 1.13 percent or 21.29 points and close at 1,904.43 points on Monday. This NEPSE index had been losing since five consecutive days.
The index that was opened at 1,883.58 points made intraday low at 1,879.36 points while intraday high at 1,904.50 points before closing at 1,904.43 points.
A total of 2,452,084 shares amounting to Rs. 94.6 Crores in the turnover amount were exchanged via 226 scrips traded hands and 17,765 transactions. Monday’s turnover amount is quite higher than previous turnover amount. Sunday's turnover amount was Rs. 77.49 Crores.
SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) made the highest turnover of Rs. 10.96 crores with market price of Rs. 616 per share while the shares of Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) traded the most.
Taragaon Regency Hotel Limited (TRH) gained the highest 9.84 percent while the Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF) lost by 6.58 percent.
All the13 sector indices closed green. "Manufacturing And Processing" sector indices gained the highest by 3.13 percent while "Non Life Insurance" gained the least by 0.24 percent.
