Kathmandu, Nepal, October 14, 2020: The NEPSE index has gained 56.72 points and closed at 2,067.17 on Monday. The index had opened at 2,022.72 ended at 2,067.17 reaching near to the previous highest index.
This is the second-highest index close in NEPSE's history. Earlier on December 2, the NEPSE had created all time high record reaching at 2,071.02.
During the four hour long trading, 12,888,066 shares were traded via 57,097 transactions and 202 scripts bringing total turnover to Rs. 7.2 Arba.
The float index has gained 3.48 points and closed at 139.81 while the Sensitive index reached at 388.16 point after gaining 6.04 points.
Different 11 companies hit the 10 percent positive circuit while Liberty Energy Company Limited (LEC) loss the most 5.79 percent.
Likewise, Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of Rs. 74.39 crores. Likewise, the shares of Garima Bikas Bank Limited (GBBL) were traded the most today.
