Kathmandu, Nepal, March 5, 2020: Newly appointed Indian ambassador to Nepal, Vinay Mohan Kwatra, has presented his credentials to President Bidya Devi Bhandari amid a function held at President’s office, Sitalniwas on Thursday.

During the function, ambassador Kwatra and President Bhandari held a brief discussions over the issue related to the bilateral relationship between the two Neighboring countries-Nepal and India. 

Following the function, Indian ambassador Kwatra also called on Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun and Defense Minister Ishwar Pokharel Ishwar Pokharel separately on Thursday.  

Kwatra is the 25th Indian ambassador to Nepal.

In the meantime, non-residential ambassadors of Seychelles Republic Thoms Selby Pillay and Mexico Federico Salas Lotfe also presented their letters of credence to President Bhandari at the separate function held at President’s office, Sitalniwas, on Thursday.
