Kathmandu, November 7, 2019: Candidates' nomination filing has concluded today for the by-election for vacant members of House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly scheduled for coming November 30. The nomination filing process begun 10.00 am to 1.00 pm today.
The by-election is going to be held for a member of the House of Representatives and three members of the Provincial Assembly. The by-election to a member of the House of Representative is to be held in Kaski Constituency-2 while by-election to the Provincial Assembly member is taking place in Bhaktapur Constituency 1 (A), Baglung Constituency 2 (B) and Dang Constituency 3 (B).
Kaski-2 has remained vacant following the demise of the then member of the parliament and Minister for Tourism, Culture and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari in a helicopter crash in Taplejung on February 27 this year.
