Kathmandu, Nepal, July 13, 2021: outgoing Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has come heavily against the Supreme Court verdict of Monday to reinstate the dissolved parliament and appoint Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba s the Prime Minister.
Addressing the nation before leaving the office Oli also stated that Supreme Court’s verdict of Monday would affect the multiparty parliamentary system and rule of the law of the country.
The Supreme Court verdict has violated the system of check and balance of power between state organs as envisaged in the constitution.
During his address he also criticized the opposition alliance for not allowing the government to function well.
