Kathmandu, Nepal, October 23, 2020: 'fulpati' the seventh day of Bada Dashami, is being observed across the country with much more fanfare on Friday. 

On the auspicious occasion, fulpati-collections of seven different plants that are considered auspicious during Dashain, used to be installed at Dashain Ghar, particularly the temples of the Goddess Durga Mata with ritual programs.   

Meanwhile, a palanquin with 'fulpati' is being installed at the Dashain Ghar at Hanumandhoka today evening amidst short celebration. 

As per the rituals, the palanquin was dispatched today morning to Hanumandhoka in Kathmandu from the Dashain Ghar at Gorkha Durbar.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, however, celebration of phulpati is restricted to gather in mass.
