Kathmandu, Nepal, February 20, 2022: Different five construction companies have been blacklisted by the Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) for abandoning their contracted projects without completion.
According to the PPMO, Engineers Construction and Mint Craft Pvt Ltd, Jaya Gadhimai Construction Pvt Ltd, Guna Construction Sewa and Kalpana Construction Pvt Ltd have been blacklisted for one year while Mudbhari and Joshi Construction Pvt. Ltd. for two years.
It is said that Engineers Construction and Mint Craft Pvt Ltd run by one Bikash Shrestha was blacklisted for abandoning the construction works belonging to Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality in Chitwan district.
Jaya Gadhimai Construction Pvt Ltd operated by one Sita Ram Chaudhary was blacklisted in the recommendation of Khairahani Municipality in Chitwan district for abandoning the construction works.
Likewise, Guna Construction sewa operated by Gunaraj Pathak was blacklisted for abandoning the construction work belonging to the Durgalaxmi Multiple Campus in Kailali.
Similarly, Mudbhari and Joshi operated by one Karan Kumar Mudbhari has been blacklisted for stranding the construction work belonging to the Rasuwagadhi hydropower company while the Kalpana Construction was blacklisted in the recommendation of Barabardiya Municipality.
