Kathmandu, Nepal: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has nominated its 20 leaders for vacant positions of office bearers.
According to the RPP, the decision was made in accordance with the party’s interim statute and the unification policy made while unifying the two parties. It is claimed that the appointment was made after RPP’s National Chairman Pashupati Shamsher Rana had also agreed for the appointments.
The appointment was made to fulfill the vacant positions after then Rastriya Prajatantra Party and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal led by Rana and Thapa respectively were merged to form the new RPP.
According to the RPP, Deepak Bohora, Rajeev Parajuli, Buddhiman Tamang, Niranjan Thapa, Pratibha Rana and Hari Narayan Yadav have been appointed as vice president while Tanka Dhakal, Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan, Rajendra Lingden, Bikram Pandey, Dhawal Shamsher JBR and Narendra Chaudhary have been appointed as General Secretary.
Similarly Uddhav Paudel and Nilakantha Kafle have been appointed as Treasurer. Thakur Prasad Sharma and Rajaram Shrestha have been appointed as spokespersons and Kiran Giri, Mohan Shrestha, Basanta Man Singh Adhikari and Rajendra Bartaula have been appointed as Assistant Spokespersons.
