Kathmandu, Nepal, December 1, 2019: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has inaugurated the 13th South Asian Games (SAG) amid a grand function organized at Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu on Sunday.
Athletes from South Asian countries- Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Maldives, Bhutan and Sri Lanka will be competing in 26 various sports in the 13th SAG.
The grand event of sport is being in three cities – Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Janakpur. More than 2000 athletes are going to compete for 1119 medals, including 319 gold, in 26 sports disciplines.
