Nepalgunj, Nepal, August 5, 2023: Six persons from two families of Nepalgunj were killed in a vehicle accident that took place last night in Shravasti district of India.
The fatal accident occurred when an Indian car with registration number UP 47 W 1217 that was coming to Nepalgunj from Balarampur, India, collided with a cow on the road near Ikauna in Shravasti district.
According to the Nepalgunj police, the deceased have been identified as 35-year-old Baibhav Gupta of Nepalgunj Southern Line, his 32-year-old wife Dipika Gupta, three-year-old son Dallu Gupta and six-month-old daughter Shriya Gupta.
Likewise, 22-year-old son Nilans Gupta and 20-year-old daughter Suniti Gupta of Santosh Gupta, owner of S. Kumar Watch Company located at Tribhuvanchowk, Nepalgunj, also died in the accident.
According to the police, Ajay Mishra, the driver of the vehicle, was seriously injured in the accident and is undergoing treatment.
