Kathmandu, Nepal, October 01, 2022: Suspended captain of Nepalese cricket team Sandeep Lamichhane, who is accused of raping a minor girl, has announced that he will arrive in Nepal on October 6 and submit himself to police.
Posting on his Facebook page account on Saturday, Lamichhane announced to this effect. “I hereby would like to announce that I am reaching my home country, Nepal, on October 6, 2022 and will submit myself to the authority of Nepal to fight a legal battle against the false allegation,” he has stated in his facebook account.
“I have a strong believe that all the law enforcement authorities and courts over their fair trial and adjudication,” he has said adding “I am hopeful to get justice at the earliest.”
