Kathmandu, Nepal September 8, 2025: As the government of Nepal banned different 26 social media platforms including the facebook from Thursday night going against the outrage of the people in general, the use of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) has been gradually increasing to access such banned social media platforms.
Though the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MoCIT) has warned that using VPNs to bypass these restrictions is unsafe, unauthorized, and carries security risks, scores of people have been accessing the banned social media by using the VPNs.
