Kathmandu, Nepal: CPN (Maoist Center) has appointed its lawmaker Tek Bahadur Basnet as the party's chief whip. Parliamentary Party of the party held on Friday at Singhdurbar made the decision.
The post of Chief Whip was remained vacant after Hitraj Pandey was appointed the Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development.
The meeting held under the leadership of party’s chairman, Parliamentary Party leader and the Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal also formed a parliamentary board. In the board Top Bahadur Rayamahji, Sita Nepali, Girirajmani Pokharel, Haribol Gajurel, Agni Prasad Sapkota, Shakti Basnet, Prabhu Sah, Ganeshman Pun, Rekha Sharma, Ram Narayan Bidari, Santu Darai and Shiva Kumar Mandal are named as the members.
