Kathmandu, Nepal, September 15, 2025: Newly appointed Prime Minister Sushila Karki is going to expand her cabinet today by adding three ministers.
The source close to the Prime Minister Karki has said that the newly inducted ministers included as former Finance Secretary Rameswore Khanal as finance minister, Omprakash Aryal as Minister for Home Affairs with the double responsibilities as the Ministry Law and Kulman Ghising as Ministry for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation.
However, Aryal’s name is dragged into controversies from different sectors including the Gen G group, the agitating group that has brought the recent change. As he had been recently serving as legal adviser to Kathmandu Mayor Balendra Shah, the agitating group has alleged of hijacking the recent movement.
