Pokhara, Nepal: At least two persons killed and about two dozen others injured when a passenger bus met with the accident at Pokhara of Kaski district on Monday.
The ill-fated bus with registration number Ga 1 Kha 6169, which was en route to Burtiwang of Baglung from Kathmandu, overturned near the Yamdi Bridge at Pokhara – 27. It is said that the bus had overturned while overtaking another vehicle.
The deceased have been identified as Manrupa Aryal, 47 and her two-year-old grandson, Atit Aryal, of Neta VDC – 2 of Gulmi district.
The injured passengers are being treated at Manipal Teaching Hospital and Western Regional Hospital. The police have detained bus driver, Krishna Bahadur Budha.
